For starters, here's a picture of me and Brendan. For those who don't know, Brendan is the lead singer of Wheatus. I met him at the show on oct 30th 2014. It was the first show i saw, and on that day my fandom got where it is now. I always liked Wheatus. First off course by getting to know "Teenage dirtbag". Also "A little respect" was one of the many songs i liked back in the days. After years just listening to Wheatus' self titled album i started to wonder if there were other albums by Wheatus. This is a few years ago. I discovered that there indeed were several other albums. And the first one i downloaded from their website was "Too soon monsoon". I loved it right away! I started listening to the other available albums and since then i've been listening to Wheatus off and on. When in 2014 their latest album came out i was psyched. At first i had to get used to it, but the second time i listened to it, it was all ready better, en with every time i hear it i like it a bit more. Then they announced their tour, and the were coming to Amsterdam! My day was made. I texted my brother telling him we were going to see wheatus, and we did! It was truly one of the best shows I've ever been to! Before the show Brendan came into the audience talking to some people here and there. I got a chance to speak to him too. I asked him if he would sign the valentine LP for me after the show. He asked me why after the show and not right now? I told him i didn't want to carry around the LP the whole time during the show because partying wouldn't be easy then. He offered me too sign it right now, and i could leave it at the merch stand, and pick it up later. This was my first encounter with Brendan. He was so nice! The show was great, they played by request, something i had never seen before, and they rocked it. I even got them to play "Dynamite satchel of pain" for a bit, even though they hadn't played it for a while. After the show the whole band came out and i was able to chat with every one of them and get them all to sign my new bought vinyl. This vinyl record was the beginning of a pretty fast growing collection of Wheatus stuff.
